Welcome to UK Friends of Mengo Hospital Kampala, Uganda
UK Friends of Mengo Hospital is a small British charity whose aim is to partner with Mengo Hospital in Kampala, Uganda, East Africa. Mengo Hospital was the first hospital in East Africa, built in 1897 by Sir Albert Cook.
Friends of Mengo Hospital can also be found in Canada, USA and the newest group is in Uganda itself.
